How to End the Year Strong with Your Significant Other
Going from living separately to quarantining together was a BIG adjustment for my significant other and I. This seems to be the norm for many couples around the US who have been stuck together. As we enter the last three months of the year, let’s end 2020 strong with our significant others.
First, Recheck your Love Languages. I say this because those of us who may have had Quality Time as our #1 isn’t quite feeling that right now. If you are not aware of what love languages are, they are the way in which you receive affection. This becomes important in relationships because if you know how you like to be loved and how your partner likes to be loved, then you can tailor your affections towards each other in a more effective way. Next, create a short term vision board for you and your significant other. This is a fun way to talk about how you want in the future and to manifest the life you both want together. Be sure to add images on your careers, travels, social life, health, houses, and finances. This is a great way to casually talk about these things.
As always, create a budget for yourselves. What goals do you want to hit? Savings? Retirement? Christmas? If you want to learn more on budgeting, you can read more in my blog: Six Types of Budgets and the Six Categories You'll Find In Each
