The Quarter Life Crisis Chronicles Volume 6: Your Wellness Wishlist For The Perfect Millennial Holiday #stopwastingyourmoney

Greetings from Corporate America,

At the end of the year, we always see a “2020 is gonna be my year.” status or meme. Well, if your posting this about 2020, then I have one question for you.

HOW?!?

Manifestation is nothing without action. So I ask again, how are you going to make 2020 your year?

This is where I am going to politely plug my “The Ultimate Guide to Goal Setting” because around this time of year, goals transform into these things we call New Years Resolutions. So I know you’re sitting there wondering why I am talking about New Years Resolution in the middle of November. But I promise there’s a good reason why I am in your inbox sounding crazy. That is because you have the ability now to make the decision to kick start your resolutions early. And now, I’m going to tell you how.

The Holidays are coming and you probably have people in your inbox asking what you want. This is the perfect time to ask for gifts that align with your resolutions!

  • You wanna loose weight? Ask for gym clothes, a cookbook, and meal prep containers.

  • You wanna find healthy ways to cope with your anxiety? Ask for a weighted blanket and some adult coloring books

  • You wanna get that shmoney right? Ask for a budgeting book or a Dave Ramsey course.

Yes, this may seem a little invasive and kind of overreaching to be asking for gifts that are for your personal benefit, but here are three reasons why this is a good idea:

  • You will inherently have an accountability buddy because you are not going to waste your friend's of family's money.

  • They will genuinely give you something you want because no one needs 8000 gift cards to the same store.

  • It will put you ahead of the game come the new year so you don't spend January "planning" to begin your Resolutions

So as we enter the last little bit of 2019, and you start to post "2020 will be my year", believe it, and make it happen by being proactive. Invest in yourself by having people invest in you for the Holidays.

Oh, did you think this was over? Well, I couldn’t begin to tell you about how you should be asking for gifts that support your wellness without giving you examples. Now, these gifts are both perfect for giving as well as receiving so if you don’t see something for yourself, maybe you’ll see something for someone else.
