Adventure Time! Candle Making at The Beehive.

So my bestie Danielle and I decided to get crafty, so we took a candle making class at the Beehive! Now candlemaking is not all we did. There was some shopping as we waited for the candles to harden. We lucked out and got some discounted tickets to the class in May. the class actually happened in late July, but don’t fear, they hold classes year round. We started the class by picking our scents and melting our wax. While the wax melted, we attached the wood wicks to the bottom of our jar. After dropping in some color and getting the wax to the perfect temperature (280 degrees) we poured it in. Then we added our scent, did some mixing and let it rest. While they were resting, I managed to only buy a coffee cup. Then we took some heat guns to remove air bubbles and smooth out the tops and our perfect little candles were done!
