How Crystals Gave Me Refuge During COVID-19

So, if you follow me on Instagram (@thebloomingbabe) then you may have seen a few posts on my story about crystals I have been buying. What you may not know is that this very innocent obsession has become a means of refuge during the quarantine. Weekly lives, flash sales, and lots of laughs have given me a form of entertainment, new home decor, and a new community to be a part of. So, let’s talk about how I’ve gotten over 30 crystal deep in a matter of 3 months.

It started around mid-May on Twitter. On top of crystals, I am also obsessed with resin art and found @ezzybeanart. She was posting some beautiful resin art. Then one day, she caught my eye with a post about starting a crystal shop that had the most beautiful rose quartz heart in it. I immediately sent it to my sister and asked if she would buy it for me for my birthday. Well, we ended up on the Live together without knowing the other was on and bid on the rose quartz heart. We ended up both buying one and trading them as a symbol of our sisterly love. THIS IS WHERE THE STORY SHOULDVE ENDED.

But nope it didn’t, because the following week Ezzy posted the most gorgeous crystals I’ve ever laid my eyes on and I HAD to be on the next live to claim them. I was, and that’s how I ended up with my fire quartz hearts. This became a cycle that has continued to this day. What I did not expect along the way was to find a little community to be a part of. The lives are so much fun and filled with lots of positive souls that I love to interact with digitally. The lives have also become something weekly that I can look forward to. Whether I am balling out or buying one or two crystals, the 2 to 4 hours a week keep me thoroughly entertained and out of my fiance’s hair. The crystals are even going to become a beautiful piece of home decor. Because they are outgrowing their bowl, I have decided to build some shelves so that I may place them around the apartment.

And the crystals themselves are TO DIE for, and I have to show them off, so check them out. You can see my crystal haul on this IGTV video: TAKE ME TO THE VIDEO

So yeah, crystals, they’re pretty awesome! As my collection grows, I will be posting more pictures of them. If you want to get in on the action, my plug is @Ezzybeanart / @ezzybeancrystals on Instagram! You can also check out pieces on her site https://ezzybeanart.com/ezzybeancrystals

Also, a quick shout out the crystal fam! Thanks for the good vibes and fun energy!
