Five Tips for Saving Money Online.

  • I am coming in HAWT with this first tip. Do not. I repeat DO NOT create another fake email. If what you want is really worth it, then that 10 percent discount will not make a difference. If it does, then YOU CAN NOT AFFORD IT. Therefore you shouldn’t buy it.

  • Since we are talking about email list, use one email for all of your sign ups. This is something I wish I would have done, but instead I am just unsubscribing from multiple emails. If you use a google account, you can also organize your emails.

  • If you think you may want something and may want to think on it a few days, leave it in your cart. Do not remove it from your cart. Do not put it in the saved for later section. I say this because many retailers will automatically send you a discount for that item if they see its been there for a while. Now this does not happen everywhere, but it is worth the try.

  • This one is a hybrid online/in store tip. Understand when sales are happening. A lot of stores that you typically see in a mall, your H&Ms and and Forever21s have parallel sales. In fact, 9/10 times when Forever 21 is have my beloved extra 50% off clearance sale online, they are also having the same sale in store.

  • Lastly, know the value of free shipping. Do not just add things to the cart until you hit that number you need for free shipping because you could be wasting money. What I mean by this is if you go to Charlotte Russe…

*whispers to myself asking if their online store is reopened*

* googles if the online shop is open*

Yes, Charlotte Russe, whose online store has reopened. If you go to their website specifically for a dress that cost $20, but to receive free shipping you need to spend $50, most people will keep adding things (like accessories, maybe a pair of shoes) to hit that $50. But here is the thing, did you really NEED those accessories and that pair of shoes, or did you want that free shipping? Do not spend $30 to save yourself $10.
