Adventure Time! : Nashville Zoo

So my boyfriend, Brendan Bae asked me what I wanted for my birthday and without hesitation I said “Take me to a petting zoo!” and so began our adventure. We went to the Nashville Zoo. Before we get into the weeds, let’s get some fun facts going!

• Nashville Zoo has more than 2,764 animals and 365 species that call home.

• They have “wild” guinea pigs

• They have a petting zoo with goats and pigs

• You can get up and close to some kangaroos

• Y’all, how freaking cute are meerkats

So while we were there we saw all the animals, bought some swag, played with goats and pigs. I wanted this to be the start of a Summer where instead of material things, I want experiences . We started our adventure with chillin with Meerkats. Then we headed straight to the goats. After frolicking with the for a bit, we heased to chill with flamingos, lemurs, and guinea pigs. Brendan and I then headed down under to hang with some kangaroos. We finished our visit with a trek through the reptile room and a quick visit back to the meerkats.
