Two Techniques To Help Manage Anxiety

The Journaling Technique

Writing down your thoughts will help you think through the reasons in which you are feeling anxious. First, identify and learn your trigger(s). This will help you avoid triggers later and find a means of addressing issues that may trigger you. Ask yourself “ What is causing me to be anxious and why?” and then question your thought pattern. Literally ask yourself “what is the worst that can happen?” and I can guarantee your answer is not the worst-case scenario. Lastly, focus on what you can change. Ask yourself “How can I make this situation better?”
