So… How did I do?: My Mental and Physical Goals for #SOS19 (Summer of Shenanigans)
Hike a waterfall
Done! I went on a hiking trip with my bestie Courtney and one of our stops was Roswell Mill where we chilled by the waterfall. You can read more about the experience by clicking the image below.
Go to a pole dancing class
Done! I did strut my stuff and twirled around at Polewaxer’s Studio in Marietta. I went with the yin to my yang Taylor. You can check out our night below
Go outside during lunch #freshair
Done! This has been bittersweet. Mainly because going outside during lunch also means that I was buying my lunch and that was not good for my budget.
Get up and get dressed before noon on Saturdays.
Done! I am a big fan of the Farmer’s market on Marietta Square so that helped get me up and out before noon. As well as my monthly massages.
Buy an essential oil diffuser to help meditate.
Of course, this was done by the time I finished the original blog. I will say this, I learned that fragrance oils and essential oils are NOT the same thing. Frangrance oils in a diffuser is toxic to inhale. Also, my boyfriend and his roommate have picked up on the wave and use the diffuser I left at their place :)
Begin writing in my journal because I need a healthy way to vent.
Done! I have slowly learned to take my vents from Twitter to a journal. To enhance the journaling experience, I also learned brush pen lettering.
So 6/7 is not bad. I am patting myself on the back, and I can definitely say that I had the most fun, healthiest summer I have had in years! Stay tuned to see how my Hot Girl Summer turns into a Fun Girl Fall!
