  • As fall and winter set in and we have shorter days, you’re going to want to stay in more. Just make sure you have ways of keeping yourself entertained in a positive way

Keep a schedule

  • A normal routine will help with adjusting to daylight savings.

Buy fall scented candles

  • . Since you’re going to be inside a bit more, go ahead and get your aromatherapy on.

Create your Fall/Winter words of affirmation

  • If you are like me then SAD sets in pretty early, and very heavy. Create or add to your normal set of affirmations as a way to get ahead of the winter blues

Invest in a SAD light

  • This type of light mimics the light levels outside. This has been proven t o help boost mood in some individuals.

Declutter your home

  • I’ve said it at least 8 times, you're gonna be in your space more because it is cold. You don't want that space all junked up.

Practice gratitude

  • Gratitude is the Altitude for Fall. That’s why fall is home to Thanksgiving. See what I did there? But seriously, practicing gratitude will help you keep a positive outlook on life

Watch the fall sunset

  • Golden Hour is perfect for photos and the slew of wonderful colors that follow are beyond cathartic.
