Tips for a Successful Digital Black Friday
Black Friday was originally coined in the 1950s by police in Philadelphia to describe the traffic in the city during shopping hours the day after Thanksgiving. Three decades later, merchants began using the term to describe the day in which accounting books go from red to black, meaning company’s are making a profit. Now, in 2020, it is the official start of the Christmas shopping season. However, Black Friday this year will look very different because of COVID-19. I have a friend in retail who has a message for the masses about shopping in stores this year.
So, I am encouraging everyone to stay home this shopping season and to shop online. If you’re not sure where exactly to start, here are a few tips for you!
